Poly Lift Solutions Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information in accordance with Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

We collect personal information necessary to provide our concrete leveling and spray foam insulation services:

  • Contact information: Name, phone number, email address, service address
  • Service information: Details about your property and the work requested
  • Payment information: If you choose to pay by credit card, payment details are processed by Stripe (we do not store your full card number)
  • Communications: Records of our correspondence with you

How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Provide estimates and deliver our services
  • Communicate about your project
  • Process payments
  • Send service reminders and follow-ups
  • Improve our services
  • Send marketing communications (only with your consent)

Service Providers and Cross-Border Data Transfer

We use service providers located outside Canada to operate our business. Your personal information may be processed in the following countries and is subject to the laws of those jurisdictions:

  • Zoho Corporation (India, Netherlands, United States) – Customer relationship management, scheduling, and email
  • Stripe Inc. (United States) – Credit card payment processing
  • Google LLC (United States) – Advertising and analytics
  • LinkedIn Corporation (United States) – Advertising

These providers are contractually required to protect your information. Foreign courts, law enforcement, or government authorities may be able to access your information under the laws of those countries.

Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Our service providers listed above
  • Third parties when required by law or to protect our legal rights
  • Property managers or condo boards when we are contracted through them (with your knowledge)

Marketing and Consent

We will only send you marketing emails if you have given us consent. You may withdraw consent at any time by:

  • Clicking “unsubscribe” in any marketing email
  • Contacting our Privacy Officer

We will process your unsubscribe request within 10 business days.

Your Rights

Under Alberta’s PIPA, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Withdraw consent: Withdraw consent for uses beyond service delivery

To exercise these rights, contact our Privacy Officer in writing. We will respond within 45 days. Access requests may be subject to a reasonable fee for out-of-pocket costs.

Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as necessary:

  • Service and financial records: 7 years (as required for tax purposes)
  • Marketing contacts: Until you unsubscribe
  • Inquiries that did not result in service: 2 years

Security

We protect your information through password-protected systems, secure cloud storage with reputable providers, and limiting access to employees who need it.
